A 27 year-old record was shattered and the Saints registered another win. History was re-written on Monday night and NFL fans were in for probably the treat of their lives, as Drew Brees broke Dan Marino’s record of yards passing in a single season and his team, the New Orleans Saints, trounced the Atlanta Falcons 45-16 to secure the NFC South title. Other teams are probably scouting around for divorce attorneys to forge a break-up and rope in Brees and some members of his victorious team. Dan Marino’s record of yards passing in a single season, 5,084, was set in 1984. Brees has also collected more feathers for his cap. His four touchdowns earned him 276 in his career and pushed him up to the ninth position in the list of all-time highs. He thus surged ahead of Joe Montana (273) and Vinny Testeverde (275). With such phenomenal figures, it is only natural that talent hunters in other teams are looking around for divorce attorneys to effect a termination of Brees’ association with the Saints.

Celebrity television anchor Katie Couric is single again and has announced that she has ended her relations with business executive Brooks Perlin. Both were romantically involved with each other for five long years. Interestingly, this is the second time that Couric has managed to elude  divorce attorneys . Couric’s husband Jay Monahan succumbed to colon cancer in 1998. Her recent split with Perlin was nothing astonishing; she was just romantically involved and not married to Perlin, who is 17 years her junior.

Amid a rising career graph and work related to social cause, Couric could barely find time for herself let alone have the time to become involved romantically with someone else (boo-hoo). Couric met Perlin in 2006 during a fund raising function and both have been together since then. Going their Separate Ways

Sometimes, celebrity couples had to pass the crossroads of their lives. The Dream filed for divorce from Millian in July, 2010, stating that their marriage was "irretrievably broken." The Dream does not mind filling the divorce knowing that Milian will gave birth to their daughter on the coming days. Nine days after he filed for divorce Millian gave birth a baby girl.

    Another celebrity couple who does not mind hiring divorce attorney was Kari Ann Peniche who was a “Celeb Rehab” star and his husband Justin Williams. Their four-month old marriage did not survive the marriage trials and the later filed for divorce in July 2011 while Peniche was pregnant.  And the sad thing is that Williams asked the judge for genetic testing just to make sure that his wife is pregnant with his child.

    Marriages facing the same faith as above do not have to endure marital inconveniences as divorce can end one’s misery. But divorce should be the last option. Sometimes marriages a bombarded with tribulations and it does not mean that couple should decide to go into divorce if the marriage did not turned out the way they perceived it. Marriage is all about respect and love for each other and couple should at least give it a try to patch up things before it got worse.
